Hello and welcome to my blog.
I have been writing for as long as I can remember. In school, in college, for competitions, for leisure, as part of work, as a stressbuster, when I want to remember, when I want to
forget, when I am upset, when I am happy – in this tumultuous
and unpredictable journey called life, my only
constants have been the
pen and the paper.
This blog is an attempt to chronicle my love
affair with the written word. While most of
the articles were written as part of my stint as a
lifestyle and features journalist, there are also other
pieces which were written for friends, social
media or are just random musings.
Fine arts, pop culture, health, lifestyle, social media, civic issues, socio-cultural observations, women’s rights, mental health – you have a wide variety of topics to choose from.
I am no photographer but I love clicking pictures whenever, wherever possible. Take a look at some of my photographs; they make for conversation starters too.
Despite all this technology, we are all starved for human contact! Come and say a hi; maybe we can think of a fun collaboration too?
Coronavirus and the lockdown – for giving me enough time to realise my dream of setting up a blog.
All articles were published in Metrolife, the city supplement of Karnataka-based Deccan Herald. They were either solely authored by me or in collaboration with team mates.
